We all know what numbers are, and we know how to talk ? so, what are Number Talks? In this course, I will cover all things Number Talks! Number Talks offer a daily, short, structured way for students to talk about math with their peers, which help to build a bridge between conceptual understanding and mental math. Why can?t my child just do math the way that I learned?!!! In this course, we will discuss other skills that are valuable for your child to develop along with knowing how to do math computation. Sample math problems, from our current math program, will be used to gain a better understanding of why your child is learning math the way that they are. (K-6th grade families)

Parent University: "Kindergarten, Here We Come!"
Everything I need to know, I learned in kindergarten! Join us to learn more about the kindergarten program. We will cover the basic including supplies your children need for the classroom, snack, ELA, Math and Science curriculum, what they look like, what hands on materials we use, expectations, testing and homework. We will also cover topics such as: classroom behavior expectations, the breakfast/lunch program, Leader in Me and Family Projects just to name a few. Please join us for this informative time and bring any questions you might have. We love kindergarten and are looking forward to a great year with your children.
